COURTS OF HEAVEN

Thy Word is forever settled in heaven. Psalm 119:89 presents a truth, that when placed into action in the spiritual realm, allows us preferred access to the very source of the only power our adversary can wield against us. We know that Satan is a legalist who uses the Word of God as a legal weapon against us just as we are allowed to do. We are taught tofight the good fight so we pray and war against our adversary only to find ourselves bloody, weary and having accomplished a step forward only to be pushed backwards two steps. How absurd it is to think that we can take on principalities and powers when it is not really our battle. Without the enlightenment of the Spirit, first shown Robert Henderson, on the courts of Heaven, we would not have achieved many of the victories He intended for us to enjoy. In no way do I mean to diminish the necessity and efficacy of prayer, as it a vital resource to communicate with our Father and maintain the victories that are ours.
As I realized the truths of scripture and how amazingly simple it is to go into the courts of Heaven and obtain, reverse, or negate judgment, I could not help but recall the secular parallels of “The Art of War” by Sun Tzu. His timeless truths of warfare such as ” if  you know your enemy and yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles – if you know yourself but not your enemy, for every victory gained you will suffer a defeat – fi you know neither yourself or your enemy, you wil succumb in every battle. He additionally stated that all warfare is based on deception, of which we should all realize that our enemy is a master of the concept. Sun Tzu also espouses that supreme excellence consists of breaking the enemy’s resistance without fighting and that no country benefits from prolonged warfare. These secular truths aptly apply to our spiritual battle. How incredibly simple and effective to go before the Righteous Judge with the Mediator who rendered our adversary completely and forever defeated, and obtain a verdict without having to engage in battles already decided by beings designed to fight for us.
In some of my trips to court I was amazed to find that the accusers case was so weak that he didn’t even show to present his pathetic case. In other visits to the court the accuser was very present and smug in thinking that he had a case with solid evidence, but in reality if we go before our Father with repentant hearts represented by and standing in the Blood, our adversary has no case that won’t be adjudicated in our favor. I never understood yelling at the adversary and reminding him of who I was and what I was entitled to. I’m sure he laughed, as he knew he had me bound. Again I must reiterate that prayer and warfare are absolutely necessary but with understanding of the enlightened nature of what is supposed to be accomplished. There should be a convergence of worship and prayer, which is the method David used to be in communion with God and bring heaven to earth where he ruled and reigned with his Master overcoming all his enemies. I believe that in these final hours we have been given keys to unlock the doors. The courts is a key to being set free, unscathed by warfare we need not pursue. After all our brother defeated our enemy once and for all, took His Blood to Heaven, sprinkled the mercy seat, and sat down at the right hand of the Father to ever make night and day intercession for us. We have an attorney that has never lost a case and a Judge who is our Father and only wants the best for us. If that were not enough we have complete support of everyone in the court but our accuser who is often a no show.
My wife and I have taken this seriously. We are appearing in court regularly when led by the Holy Spirit to repent and have judgments removed from our books back through our bloodline. The Blood speaks, Hebrews 12:24, and it speaks forgiveness and not vengeance as that of Abel. Hebrews 12:23 says we have come to the assembly of the firstborn and our names are written in Heaven, that we have come to God Himself who is Judge over all things and the spirit of those made perfect, whom by the way will soon be us.
I find this revelation of the courts of Heaven such a simple yet profound tool the Master has placed in our hands. While the Angelic host wages horrific battle with principalities in the second heaven, where we have absolutely no business, we merely step around and meet our Father and our Mediator to negate all the legal injunctions the accuser has set against us. I stand in awe of His mercy, His unfailing and never-ending love for us.

The experiences and imagery one sees in the spirit can be very rich and majestic moving you to awe of the goodness and mercy of our Father or can be a simple matter of business. I have entered smoke filled ethereal courtrooms and stood in awe of His majesty. The sheer magnitude and awe brings forth worship, which I see as integral to operation in the court of the King. After all we were created to be worshippers. Scripture reminds us that we are to come into His courts with praise and with gratitude bless His Holy Name (Psalms 100:4). Worship creates atmospheres and moves the hand of Almighty God to implement on our behalf. When the worship of the Ecclesia is heard in the courts of Heaven, justice and mercy are released by God. This is precisely how David effectively moved the hand of God from Mount Zion.
In our personal experience within the courts I have seen amazing things. I have seen the Blood flow down our books washing away bondage that we have repented of both in our lives and our bloodline. I can say that this court strategy has enabled our one flesh union to encounter and receive victories in many areas. Every aspect of our lives speaks. From our faith to our giving, our whole being speaks and has testimony in the court of Heaven. As important as the court is in our personal lives, He has shown me that He is about Nations and is desirous that we come into the courts on behalf of nations. As the earth belongs to us, we are responsible for the maintenance thereof. Jesus gave us the keys and we are expected to clear every legal mess that the accuser has deceitfully led us into. When we repent and release our worship before the throne, the Father can fulfill His passionate desire and Heaven can legally invade earth that His will be done here as it is in Heaven.
The Ecclesia has this right, privilege, and obligation to obtain verdicts of release. Hebrews 12:23 says we are registered in Heaven and therefore have jurisdiction and legal right to operate in the courts on behalf of Nations. The Ecclesia has this higher than individual right and to not pursue it is selfish and irresponsible in light of the Great Commission. There is an acceleration that I have noticed in my life and in the Kingdom. God is rapidly preparing the Ecclesia and us for something special in this time. He seems to be pulling all the stops in what I perceive to be preparation for a final harvest. The revelation of the courts of Heaven is in my opinion yet another method of rapid preparation in this kairos moment in which we are privileged to witness and be a part of. The earth will be filled with the Glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea (Hab2:14) It is happening before our very eyes and I see fulfillment of Amos 9:11 when the tabernacle of David will be restored in the hearts of the Ecclesia where our prayer and worship will move the hand of God on the earth and all Nations will be drawn unto Him.
