The East Wind and Revival for Harvest

“The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” John 3:8

The Vision

I saw a great east wind sweeping the east coast of the United States of America and moving to the west coast and beyond. It was an extraordinarily different wind and undeniably God. The wind exposed and blew away the chaff and dross from the former rain to allow for the latter. Though seemingly insignificant, Holy Spirit says ask for and decree its arrival, as it is the Kingdom of God that all creation groans for, the manifestation of the sons of God. It is also to awaken God’s will and purpose for the United States of America in this hour.

The How and Why

Most of my visions come when our prophetic intercessory prayer team of three are heavily engaged in spiritual warfare. Holy Spirit impresses upon us a direction in which to go and when we move into tongues, our prayer language, we often are led to future events to move the arm of the LORD. To those that have not participated in intercession such as this, it will seem incomprehensible and unnatural because it is not natural – rather it is supernatural. Supernatural is the realm of the spirit and it is far more real than the physical world we occupy. Ephesians 2:6 says we are saved by grace and are entitled to sit with Him in Heavenly places. As eternal beings our earth suits of flesh will return to the dust from which He created them and our spirit and soul will reside eternally with Him in glorified form or in eternal darkness and torment with Satan – it’s our choice. When we utilize our position in Christ and the power of God that raised Christ from the dead works in and through us, we are able to bring God’s plan into fruition. When God formed man from the dust of the ground He blew His breath/spirit into Adam and he became a living soul. The Hebrew word for breath is ruach. The word means spirit, breath, and wind. Jesus, the second Adam became a lifegiving spirit and the Redeemer for us all.

Wind and the East Wind

In Ezekiel 37 we encounter a Last Days prophetic action where the Spirit comes upon Ezekiel and he is told to prophesy life to a valley of dry bones. From death, and the dry baroness thereof, will come life. “I will cause breath to enter you and ye shall live…prophesy unto the wind..thus saith the Lord God, come from the four winds breath and breathe upon these slain that they may live and they lived…stood on their feet, an exceeding great army…I will make the children of Israel one nation in the land I have given them…I will make a covenant of peace with them and it will be everlasting…my tabernacle will also be with them..I will be their God and they shall be my people.” Being East wind is highly significant because prophetically it is sent to break down resistance to His voice and bring repentance requisite to reformation. God is picking up the pace in confronting man’s disdain for His creation. Holy Spirit, Ruach HaKodesh, opens our eyes to see the truth of life in Christ Jesus. We are quickened or made alive to who He is and to the veracity of God breathed Scripture. The East Wind is sent to bring recognition of and repentance from unbelief.

Interpretation and Significance of the Vision

This is my interpretation of the vision: The East wind is sent by God to awaken America from a hardened spirit, dry and devoid of the life of God. The breath of God is in it. God is speaking to all His creation. He wants to send His latter rain to prepare us for the last days prior to our Millennial reign with Christ. Rain was/is life to crops and His blessing providing sustenance for our physical bodies, but in the spirit it is the life of God. Revival is breaking out in our nation and the nations of the world. I believe the intensity will exponentially expand in the coming days of 2023 and that this is the start of the last days harvest of souls.

The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Corinthians 2:14
